Hi, I'm A.M. Ross.

I've been an avid reader and writer since I was a child, devouring books from the school library and writing my first short story at age seven. Growing up as an Army brat who moved around the country frequently, I found books to be the once constant in my life.

With as much reading as I did, I eventually found myself creating my own characters and worlds that have evolved through the years, and now I want to share them with readers.

Why I Write Romantic Fantasy Featuring Strong Heroines.

Realizing that stories with women in their late thirties (or older) as heroines were few and far between, I wanted to capture the power, strength, and beauty of women my own age in my books.

I hope readers can experience the nostalgia of the fantasy stories they loved growing up, only this time, with heroines secure in themselves finding love, going on adventures, and healing old wounds.

When I'm Not Writing

When not reading or writing, I love painting tabletop miniatures, spending time with my large, chaotic family, or cooking traditional southern or Italian recipes.
